Because Bitten is research driven, it requires a specialized and trained group of diligent researchers and writers to gather, analyze and articulate findings in an engaging, interesting and genuine way. Bitten has attracted people from diverse backgrounds to provide the most comprehensive and accurately researched book possible to put the #lymelight on an often overlooked disease.
DR. Dale M. Jones, PHD
Author
Dr. Jones, with a doctorate in Education, has studied interpersonal cultural relationships in the United States for ## years. She has lifelong experiences in social justice and entrepreneurship. Motivated by her diagnosis of Lyme disease, Dr. Jones has become an advocate for Lyme literacy, education, and awareness, and a valued resource within her community.
AMANDA GORHAM, PHDC
Researcher
Amanda's research is focused on developing an innovative screening tool for postpartum mental illness; however, she is most interested exploring ways to bridge the gap between measurement science and clinical practice to approach issues of stigma, access, and psychometric quality, especially as it relates to public health.
DR. GRETCHEN ROSSMAN, PHD
Contributor
Dr. Rossman, Professor Emerita at UMass Amherst, is one of the world leaders in qualitative research. With numerous publications, she is a world renowned author, educator and researcher.

Sage has a degree from St. John's University with 4 years experience of data management for the Neuro-developmental Speech Perception Lab and several research pilots of his own. Outside of Bitten, he presently examines the analytics for user web behaviors for a local college.
darius taylor, abd​
Statistical Consultant
Darius has a background in Epidemiology and Biostatistics. His professional and research experience has focused on survey methods, evaluation, and statistical analysis in health and human behavior. He is currently enrolled as a PhD candidate in Research, Educational Measurement & Psychometrics at UMass - Amherst.
THE EXPERT REVIEW PANEL
In addition to our team, our expert review panel is comprised of a general practitioner, a neurologist, a naturopath, an academic researcher, and two leaders in the Lyme advocacy community. This review panel is adding value by checking factual information, providing medical addendums, and evaluating the overall salience of our work. ​
