Bitten Twice is a book in progress illuminating how living with Lyme or a Lyme-like Disease (LLDs) has affected the various aspects of a womans life from her social relationships to her workplace. Guided by research, Bitten Twice showcases statistical and data trends within the Lyme community and weaves touching personal narratives from those most affected. This book is based on extensive research and personal stories gathered by the author.

As an author I am personally passionately invested in Lyme disease, research and advocacy. There is no compensation for this work. The publishing of this literature faces many projected costs including maintaining this website where project updates are posted, the official survey is hosted, accessing outside data banks, securing interviews with individuals from the Lyme community and securing a publishing agent.
